Greene County Genealogical & Historical Society is a non-profit organization.
It was granted non-profit status in 2005, making all donations tax deductible.
Our support comes solely from membership fees, sales of our publications, donations and grants. We are an all volunteer organization.
Our Society is dedicated to the preservation of Greene County's rich history.
Our goal is to make our community aware of the resources we have available for use, and to protect the records and documents in our care.
Genealogy is a rewarding hobby that often grows into a passion.
We have a storehouse of information of our county's past, as well as a treasure trove of clues to discover your own family history.
We would love to help get you started!
